IGT Toscana rosso

Grapes: Sangiovese 70%, Cabernet e Merlot 30%
Area of Origin: Cerreto Guidi, Moro farm.

The vineyards are located in the area of Cerreto Guidi at 150 m above sea level, on a clay based soil. The period of the harvest depends on the grape-variety.

Vinification: fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature of 26- 28°C; Maceration on the skins lasted for about 20 days.

Aging: the wines were assembled and matured both in steel vats and in tonneaux (oak barrels of 5 hl), for about 12 months.

Tasting Notes: dark garnet red color. Red fruits and aromatic herbs notes. Good body, persistent and harmonic wine.

Pairing Suggestions: serve it with pasta, red meat, roasted meat and vegetables.
